Adam Smith and Edmund Burke on Commerce, Virtue, and the Limits of Empire.

Greg Collins is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Political Science at Yale University. His book on Edmund Burke's economic thought is under contract by Cambridge University Press. His intellectual interests include the history of political thought, conceptions of commerce and virtue, constitutional theory and practice, and slavery and abolition. He has published articles on Burke, Adam Smith, Britain's East India Company, and Frederick Douglass. Greg lives with his wife and daughter in West Hartford, CT.
