Summer Seminar: Pursuing the Common Good in the Age of Trump
This week-long seminar, co-taught by Danilo Petranovich Ph.D. and Professor Timothy Belk, examined the roots of our current political system, looking at authority, dogma, meaning, and the common good. Fourteen students attended this seminar, 11 current advanced high school students and three college students ranging from rising freshman to sophomore.
Summer Seminar: Man and Woman, Body and Soul in the Western Tradition
This week long seminar, co-taught by Angela Franks Ph. D. and Erika Bachiochi JD, focused on exploring the metaphysical and philosophical roots behind questions surrounding sex and gender, and sexual equality and freedom. Eighteen students attended, three from Harvard University. The majority of the students were advanced undergraduate or graduate students.
Summer Seminar: The American Proposition
This week-long seminar, co-taught by Danilo Petranovich Ph.D. and Professor James Nolan, focused on the writings of Alexis de Tocqueville and Orestes Brownson as they offer the starting points into the questions of American uniqueness and national identity. Twelve undergraduate college students attended, including six international students. Students were housed on Harvard’s campus for the duration of the seminar, allowing them to interact and form community in between seminar sessions.

James Capuzzi and Alan Dunne led a short story discussion group featuring stories Ernest Hemingway, Wendell Berry, Flannery O’Connor, Graham Greene, and James Joyce.
