Each participant’s registration includes:
Six month interactive Practical Wisdom for Agile Leadership (PWAL) executive education program
Copy of Practical Wisdom for Agile Leadership Handbook: How to Know What to Do When You Don’t Know What to Do
Exclusive access to PWAL online tools, resources and professional development library
Participation in two additional school team-specific online coaching sessions with Karen Bohlin
Support for your development of a one-year plan to ensure implementation and internal scaling

Please select number of participants on your team by increasing Quantity at checkout. School teams are made up of a minimum of 3 and maximum of 6 participants.
Financing the program
We do not want any individual or team not to participate because of cost. If your school’s professional development budget cannot cover 100% of the cost for you or your team, please email us at pwal@abigailadamsinstitute.org with the subject line “Financing the program.” Please let us know how much you can contribute to the program cost and we will let you know if we can secure assistance from foundations and benefactors to make up the difference.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Practical Wisdom for Agile Leadership (PWAL) Executive Education Program includes 6 interactive, online workshops hosted once a month (November 2023, January, February, March, April and May 2024). Each half-day workshop provides interactive opportunities to try and apply what you learn to real time challenges in your school; to reflect on individual and shared practices; to learn from colleagues in other schools; and to advance an initiative or address a problem of practice with feedback and coaching.
PWAL is designed to equip you and your team with the knowledge, experience and practice you need to:
Understand what practical wisdom is, why it is crucial to educating for flourishing, and how it can be developed within your team using the Practical Wisdom Framework™️;
Acknowledge and temper first reactions and evoke small shifts--in yourself and others—from a first reaction to a practical, wise response;
Create and implement a strategic initiative or address a specific problem of practice in your school;
Activate your leadership compass, your internal capacity to lead with practical wisdom and navigate challenges in ways that promote both individual and collective flourishing.
