The Wollstonecraft Project Fellowship

Research Assistant Position

We are looking to hire a research assistant for our inaugural Abigail Adams Institute Wollstonecraft Fellows, who are working on a collection of essays on literature and motherhood.

The research assistant would aid the Fellows and the collection contributors with finding scholarly sources for the essays and assisting with other tasks as needed. We are looking for someone with strong research skills, attention to detail, and interest in literature/humanities and motherhood.

The research assistant should be a Harvard undergraduate or graduate student. The research assistant will work remotely and may use office space in person at the Abigail Adams Institute. This is a yearlong position, a maximum of 5 hours per week at $15/hour.

The Wollstonecraft Project at the Abigail Adams Institute aims to guide, facilitate, and support scholarly engagement in questions of sexual equality and freedom, as philosophically informed by realist metaphysics, virtue-based ethics, and a Wollstonecraftian understanding of rights grounded in responsibilities.
