What are we doing Here?

is a project launched in Spring 2020 by Gabrielle Landry ‘22, an AAI Student Fellow. This student discussion group aims to explore essential questions about living and thriving at Harvard. In four sessions over dinner, we tackle Friendship, Scholarship, Leadership, and Flourishing. Readings, reflective exercises, and our own experiences guide our thinking and discussions. The goals of this discussion group are to: (1) foster thoughtful and intellectual community; (2) grow in self-knowledge and develop personal answers to our questions; and (3) discuss important questions surrounding life at Harvard, such as: What is the point of college? How do friendship, scholarship, and leadership form our college experience? How can we flourish at Harvard?
